What you can ask

Seven signals. Conversational.

Apex reads your live portfolio across seven signals — you ask, it answers. Or it acts in Deal Room directly.

Exposure & concentration

Where the book is leaning.

Reads your sector and stage mix, flags concentrations above 35%, and benchmarks against vintage peers.

Vintage benchmarks

Above, at, or below cohort.

Net TVPI ranked against vintage-equivalent positions in your asset class.

Pacing

Dry powder & calls.

Tracks called-to-commitment ratio and flags pacing risk before the next vintage closes.

Dispersion

Best vs. weakest.

Spread between top and bottom positions — an early warning on portfolio uniformity.

DPI / RVPI

Acts in Deal Room

Not just answers — actions.

Ask Apex to share a diligence pack, send a quarterly LP update, advance a deal stage, or DM an investor — it does it inside Deal Room, with the action logged on the deal's activity feed.

"Send the Geregu diligence pack to my partner" → shared in 12s, link logged.

Summary. You hold 5 positions totaling $1.8M in commitments — 42% called, $160K distributed, NAV $590K. Net TVPI 1.42× (ahead of typical early-cycle pacing) with DPI 0.21× — meaningful realized return already for a 2024 vintage book.

Exposure. Largest concentration is Renewable Energy at 48% of commitments. Book is diversified across 3 sectors. Geographic exposure is 78% Nigeria, 22% Sub-Saharan ex-Nigeria.

What I noticed.

  • You have meaningful dry powder — 58% of commitments remain uncalled. Pacing is healthy but watch the Q4 calls scheduled across two of your sub-funds.
  • Dispersion between your best (Sunray Power Series A, 2.1×) and weakest (Atlas Hydro Co-Invest, 0.3×) position is wide. Worth a call with the Atlas GP on the mark explanation.
  • The Polaris Holdings position (signed, $1.2M) is concentrated in transmission infrastructure — correlated with your other grid-adjacent positions. Diversification suggestion in the Recommendation below.
Recommendation. Hold the line. Pacing is healthy. Consider re-upping into the same GP's next vintage rather than spreading thin. Open a diligence thread on Atlas Hydro before its next milestone date (12 Jun 2026).

FAQ

Common questions.

Still curious? Talk to the team.

Is this a chatbot?
Yes — but a useful one. Apex is conversational, connected to your Deal Room, and grounded in your real position data. Ask about your book, your pacing, your dispersion. It can also act in Deal Room when asked — share artifacts, send LP reports, advance a deal stage. No generic LLM hallucinations on top of nothing.
Where does the data live?
Inside your Deal Room tenancy. Apex doesn't move your positions out, doesn't train a shared model on them, and never blends them with another customer's data. Notes generate against your tenancy only.
What are the seven signals?
Exposure & concentration, vintage benchmarks (TVPI vs. peer cohort), pacing (called vs. committed), dispersion (best/worst spread), DPI vs. RVPI split, sector / geographic risk, and conviction (the recommendation). Each is computed per position; the note rolls them up to portfolio level.
Is the recommendation investment advice?
No. Apex notes are written as analyst commentary on your live data — useful for surfacing pacing risks, dispersion, and re-up cues — but they are not regulated investment advice. Always pair the output with your own diligence and your firm's compliance posture.
When does general availability land?
Targeted for Q3 2026, after the closed-beta cohort hits 25 firms and we have at least one full vintage of feedback. Until then, access is invitation-only via the waitlist.
