Authentication & 2FA
NEIIA requires two-factor authentication (2FA) for all GP and LP accounts handling financial data.
- Setup: Navigate to Settings > Security and scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy).
- Backup Codes: Store your recovery codes securely. If you lose your phone, you will need these to bypass the 2FA prompt.
Data Security & Compliance
NEIIA is SOC 2 Type II compliant. All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256, and data in transit is protected via TLS 1.3.
Troubleshooting
I lost my authenticator app and backup codes. How do I log in?
You must contact your firm's primary administrator to reset your 2FA token. If you are the primary admin, contact NEIIA support with your firm's incorporation documents to verify identity.
How do I change my primary email address?
For security reasons, changing your primary email requires re-verification. Go to Account Settings > Email, enter your new address, and click the confirmation link sent to the new inbox.
